[02:41:05] <ted-ious> Is upstart your beta test server for systemd?
[02:41:15] <chromas> yeah
[02:41:28] <chromas> I replaced curl but I'm missing the part that detects redirects and stuff
[02:41:54] <chromas> normally if the url is changed (like http to https or going from a short link) it shows the new url in parentheses
[02:42:15] <chromas> that bit isn't in the code that changed though, so I dunno what's up
[02:42:43] <chromas> maybe I have to check the handy redirect array
[02:43:01] <chromas> before, I had to manually detect each redirect otherwise I wouldn't know it happened

[02:49:40] <chromas> no sir, I didn't like it

[02:52:51] <ted-ious> I don't understand so I'll just let you get on with it. :)
[03:04:09] <chromas> When you put in http://google.com it should redirect to https://google.com but it's either not working, or when I got it to, it was getting a bunch of extra nonsense
[03:04:16] <chromas> though that could just be bing nonsense

[03:04:32] <systemd> ^ 03Teatime ( https://www.bing.com:443 )
[03:04:45] <chromas> hm I guess it's just microsoft nonsense
[03:04:57] <ted-ious> Why don't you just convert every http to https?
[03:05:07] <ted-ious> Before trying to get it?
[03:05:43] <chromas> what if the server doesn't do https? plus it's not just about https, but any redirects
[03:07:00] <chromas> it also handles stuff like, say, http://tinyurl.cum redirecting to https://slkdfjsl;ifunefSOeifusfsefs.sdf.isunfe

[03:11:05] <chromas> seems to work
[03:11:19] <chromas> though it doesn't at all help with clownflare
[03:11:41] <ted-ious> Did you add in the impersonation libs?
[03:12:31] <chromas> no but my code went from around 50 lines to 9

[03:15:48] <ted-ious> Are you sure that's cloudflare and not some other blocker?
[03:16:24] <chromas> some of the older checks were for ip karma or whatever, so if you solved a puzzle from a browser on the same ip then it would work for a bit
[03:18:02] <chromas> for sure cloudflare
[03:18:09] <chromas> host www.axios.com
[03:18:16] <chromas> www.axios.com is an alias for www.axios.com.cdn.cloudflare.net.
[03:18:24] <ted-ious> Oh. :)
[03:18:33] <chromas> Good idea to check though
