[21:46:33] <AlwaysNever> about the DNS thing, for a small LAN the package "dnsmasq" is able to work as both a DHCP server, and as a DNS Server, plus it does the dynamic updates thing in DNS based on its own DHCP leases. It's quite small and self-contained.
