[02:24:37] <chromas> Switch to postgres
[02:24:46] <chromas> or MongoDB. I hear it's web scale
[03:32:07] <halibut> I heard /dev/null was even faster, and even more web scale. I tried it out, and it is really fast. Take a look; just point your browser to about:blank.
[03:32:47] <halibut> I'm just having a little trouble with displaying the content, but I'm sure I can get that worked out.
[03:33:49] <AlwaysNever> yeah, and a blackout is faster than the speed of light
[03:49:51] <kolie2> p-nus

[10:56:58] <Ingar> halibut: unfortunately, queries on /dev/null always yield 0 records
[15:47:34] <Fnord666_> It's the thought that counts?
[15:48:41] <Fnord666_> I may submit a request to set up a backup routine for our servers to backup /dev/null on an hourly basis and see what happens.
[15:49:10] <Fnord666_> our being the servers that I am responsible for at work, not the Soylent servers. Just to be clear.
[15:55:36] <kolie2> My CPU decided it likes blue screening randomly.
[15:56:16] <kolie2> its a fully patched 14900kf, im not convinced its related to the issue with this line yet.
[15:59:22] <Fnord666_> But is it a nice, calming shade of blue at least?
[16:36:29] <kolie2> i dont think its very calming.
[17:16:43] <Ingar> that's the kind of CPU that kills itself isn;t it?
[18:44:09] -!- Runaway1956 has quit [Read error: -0x1: ERROR - Generic error]
[20:19:43] -!- Runaway1956 [Runaway1956!~OldGuy@the.abyss.stares.back] has joined #soylent
[22:13:49] <AlwaysNever> blue screen with some additional message?
[22:15:10] <AlwaysNever> last blue screen I got, on a Proliant DL380 Gen10, had the message "WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR" and it was a faulty CPU indeed
[22:16:20] <AlwaysNever> In Windows a nice BSOD, and in Linux it was crashing the firmware for the Broadcom NIC
