[16:16:51] <drussell> Unfortunately, my mom passed away almost 5 years ago now, and dad nearly 12 years now... :(
[16:17:41] <drussell> My sister lives about 700 km away and my brother 1000, so I'm just cooking up a storm for myself and bring some dinners around to some of the local elderly and shut-ins.. :)
[16:18:50] <drussell> All my bread dough is rising, 2 trays of cinnamon buns for this morning and then a tray of dinner buns to go with the turkey festival... haha
[16:19:56] <drussell> Now on to prepping the turkey (it's been brining since yesterday) and then maybe I'll make some cookies... Ginger/molasses cookies, some rolled oat cookies and a batch of shortbread, I think should be on the agenda... heh... heh... :)
[16:21:33] <drussell> Oh, and I have some fresh stock simmering, because I'm making a bunch of extra "stuffing"/dressing outside the bird, since it's only a little 11lb bird, and I can always use more stuffing!! haha

[18:26:32] <janrinok> I'm sorry for your losses. Tomorrow is my Dad's birthday - he passed away several years ago now. I will light a candle for him. My Mum died in 2017. This is the one time of the year where I especially miss them.
